DAF Direct
Donate using DAF Direct
DAF Direct makes it easier to support UWS by giving directly from your donor-advised fund. It welcomes donors to recommend grants from their donor–advised fund, also known as a DAF, directly from your website. Neither you nor UWS will incur any download or transaction fees.
Step 1 – Click on the DAF Direct link and fill out any information that is not already specified.Step 2 – Once you click “Next,” you will be taken to the login page of your DAF and
then select United World Schools USA (EIN # 84-4415835).
Step 3 – Upon logging on, your DAF Direct grant specifications are pre-populated to simplify the process. You will then complete the grant recommendation in the donor’s DAF. Once completed, you will either log out of the account or return to DAF Direct to recommend another grant to UWS USA.
Step 4 – Once the grant recommendation is made, it will go through the sponsoring organization’s normal grant review process.
Step 5 – After the grant recommendation is approved, funds will be transferred to UWS USA via check or electronic funds transfer.
Grants made to UWS USA through Donor-Advised Funds can be designated in one of two ways:
- UWS USA to use wherever the need is greatest
- UWS USA to use for a specific country that matches the donors’ interests, such as Cambodia, Madagascar, Myanmar, or Nepal.
BNY Mellon, Fidelity Charitable, and Schwab Charitable clients can make a designation through the DAF Direct window on this page.
