Education provides stability in life, and it’s something that no one can ever take away from you. It helps people become better citizens, get better-paid jobs.
Education shows us the importance of hard work and at the same time helps us grow and develop. In parallel, education is the process of expediting learning, acquiring knowledge, values and virtue. It contributes to the development of better people around the globe. Moreover, practical education helps one to think critically, analyze problems and come up with appropriate solutions.
By practicing problem-solving and practical education on a daily basis, students are able to acquire new ideas and learn a deeper understanding of various concepts. In this regard, UWS Myanmar’s Education Team focuses on practical learning approaches with its students. In January 2023, a group of students in Lwal kyal tested the basic concept of Pico hydro as a practical way of learning. They demonstrated the concept of Pico hydro with the resources made in the village. As Lwal Kyal village is located in Kyaing Tong Township, there is no electricity through national grid. The community has to depend on electricity that comes from solar panel and Pico hydro.
In this regard, it is important for students to understand the basic concepts of how Pico hydro contributes in their daily life. UWS Myanmar will keep on providing the learning resources that is required to promote experiential learning theory.
